During this daylong retreat, we'll practice sitting and walking meditation in silence together. There will be guided practices, dharma talks, and time for discussion, as well as an hour for silent group lunch. We'll be emphasizing aspects of love, awareness, and self-compassion as we practice in community together.
Our time together will begin on Friday evening with a catered dinner, meditation, and dharma talk + discussion.
Saturday will consist of a day of mostly silent sitting and walking practice, with a catered lunch midday and dharma talk + discussion at the end.
Friday: 6pm to 8:30pm
Saturday: 10am to 6pm
This workshop is open to people of all faiths, persuasions, races, ethnicities, nationalities, ages, resources, sexual orientations, gender orientations, and ranges of ability. There will be an opportunity to offer Dana for the teachers at the end of the retreat.
